| description | This dataset provides forest disturbance polygons in the Haida Gwaii region. These polygons identify the area of each 1:20,000 Freshwater Atlas Assessment Watershed in which forest has been disturbed by harvesting or fire. Areas where logging had occurred greater than 60 year ago were not considered. Data from Gowgaia Institute (harvested areas) and DataBC (fire), current as of August 2021. |
